The lack of a URL is one of the causes we've discovered. Outlook 365 will ignore the link and associated styling if you don't specify a url, such as href=”#”. For testing purposes, you should use a dummy URL like this: href=”http://www.example.com”.
2. How to fix brackets before the text of the link in Office 365?
If you don't correctly style your links, Office 365 will do this. This problem should be resolved if you include “https://” before the address.
